If it’s good enough for me…then it’s good enough for ye! I just signed up as a volunteer group member with the CECAS project ‘Community Garden’, as it’s a great way to learn a new skill (or two) & to make some new friends. Our 1st meeting was yesterday (Sunday 16th) & between us, we came up with a plan to rekindle the historic walled garden at Myross House, Leap. If you have an interest in growing your own fruit & veg, then please get in touch with either Ana or Trish on 028 33118 or email: info@cecas.ie, as they are currently recruiting. There are also plenty of other volunteer roles needing to be filled, so if you want to get back out & involved in your community, the guys would love to hear from you.
