We Seek Teachers of English and Academic Managers  

Isn’t it time to ‘Live and Work the Dream’ in beautiful Atlantic-side Schull, West Cork, Ireland ?

From Easter 2023, we seek several full time and part time Teachers of English as a Second Language & also have a limited number of Academic Management Roles.

We have a need for Teachers of Adults and Teachers of Teens/Younger Learners (separate premises but all in Schull, W. Cork) Specific Easter/summer contracts. Also, year-round part-time positions. We are open year-round, but our busiest time is Easter to mid/end of autumn.   While some assistance will be given with accommodation, suitably qualified candidates from W. Cork with transport and /or located in the West Cork area would be ideal.   Otherwise, we support you with accommodation acquisition.

Responsibilities:

English Language teachers will be responsible for lesson planning and execution to the highest standard for our discerning students who expect very special individual attention to their linguistic needs and objectives.

Academic Managers will have experience of teaching but also management of academic programmes and the academic teams. Managers must ensure meticulous record keeping, regular appropriate assessment /evaluation of students and teachers alike. Managers must also offer regular support and supervision of newly qualified teachers.

Qualifications   Specific recognised EFL/ESOL certification as well as third level qualifications when relevant for each particular role. Ideally minimum 3 years’ experience – though newly trained teachers will be given excellent support. Longer experience essential for Academic Management ( e.g. D.O.S) roles.
