Yesterday afternoon myself & a few members of the CECAS Community Garden Volunteers met up at Reen Pier & collected 2 tonnes of fresh seaweed to put on to our soon to marked out ‘No Dig’ veg beds. The job in hand took roughly 1hour, but the benefits for the soil will be massive. This to me is an excellent example of how when people within the Community come together for a shared cause, with a positive outcome.
