Ho! Ho! Ho!
It’s fair to say, that for the majority of us, Christmas is the happiest time of the year…It certainly is for me!
Families come together, presents are placed under the tree & we eat, drink & be merry…
However, there are many others for whom Christmas is the actual opposite. Stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness & destitution are just but a few of the emotions &/or situations people will be experiencing.
That is why the ‘Voice of West Cork’ podcast series is dedicating the month of December to highlighting the plight & the reality of what the ‘festive season’ will be like for the people, living in our community, who won’t be waking up full of the joy’s…yet alone with a roof over their head.
