Well done to all West Cork Tidy Towns…
It is official…Not only do we have the best Community in Ireland, but we also have the most beautiful!
That’s according to the SuperValu Tidy Towns Awards 2022.
The West Cork Towns & Villages once again walked away with a whole series of winning awards & from inspecting the ‘points tables’, everyone that entered had improved on last year’s scores.
Listed are just a few of the winners:
Clonakilty – Tidiest Small Town (Gold)
Rosscarbery – Tidiest Village (Gold)
Bantry – Gold (2nd year running)
Skibbereen – Silver
Eyeries – Bronze
Also, a big shout out to Ballineen & Enniskean Tidy Towns, who won the overall ‘Pride of County Cork’ Award 2022. I will be speaking with Margaret O’Donovan this Friday as part of the ‘Voice of West Cork’ podcast – Series 2.
