Welcome to the latest ‘Voice of West Cork’ podcast. In this, Episode 13, I am talking with Isla Jeffers about the joys, jubilations & benefits of being a member of a group choir.
The Glaslinn Choir, based in Bandon, 1st formed in 1969 & in recent years has gone from strength to strength. The pandemic did of course set them back, but according to Isla, they are very much bouncing back.
Back in May, they were part of an evening put together to raise money for the people of Ukraine & raised a massive €3000+ on the night…So, a massive well done!
Being a choir, the obvious choice for our ‘featured artist’ is also the Glaslinn Choir. However, instead of playing us out with just the one song…this time out, your being treated to two.
