I recently attended the Cork County PPN “Wellbeing Community” workshop in Leap & I’m so glad that I did.
It was an opportunity, for me & all those present, to have a say in which direction we want to develop the Strategic Plan for all Community & Voluntary groups based in County Cork & City.
These workshops are being held throughout November & December & the next for West Cork is in Bandon Town Hall on Monday 28th November. These are public workshops, but you will have to register to attend (see link below).
The CCPPN is a fantastic network & I urge anyone who is involved in the Community/Voluntary sector to register with them. They offer free advice, training & events & also provide information on funding…& it’s free to join!!
For the record, another great organisation I truly believe to be beneficial & a must to register with, is The Wheel – Ireland’s national association of Community & Voluntary organisations, Charities & Social Enterprises…& again, it’s free…So what are you waiting for…
